Rich and tender, these scones are packed with cheddar goodness. Then they are brushed with a garlic and parsley butter.
CHEDDAR SCONES
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup Cabot Cheese
2 cups Biscuit mix
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grate the cheese and mix with the biscuit mix and milk. Dust the work area with flour. On a floured surface, roll dough into a disk and cut into slices. Sprinkle with pepper and place on cookie sheet. Cook for 15 minutes.
Combine butter, garlic salt, and parsley in a small bowl.
Brush butter onto warm scones.
