Steamed Shrimp

Here is another classic for you. This is another simple and easy recipe for Lent. All that is needed is a little side salad and some bread and you have a meal.

I used frozen shrimp and defrosted it in the refrigerator. I cant remember where I got the recipe from, but it is fantatic!

I have know idea why I have a phobia about cooking seafood at home. I think it must be because mom never did growing up. (We raised beef, not shrimp or fish—that was the mantra.) These look soo good though and I love that sauce.

I love this! Add some crab legs, some sausage, and a couple corn cobs and you’ve got yourself a down-south seafood boil! =)

This sounds great! Especially with the fish sauce! I have a similar recipe for the shrimp but it just uses shrimp, beer & old bay! So delish! Great post!

For some reason my husband takes charge of cooking seafood in our house. I shall be leaving this recipe where he can easily find it as a very large hint to make this dish!

Simple is sometimes where the best flavours reside. This looks like a great way to bring out some great shrimp flavours! Great recipe!
