Chocolate No Bake Cookies

As I entered the cafeteria at the school, I noticed a bowl of delicious juicy apples. Below it, in Sisters handwriting was a sign.
Help yourself.
Please take only one.
Remember, Jesus is watching.
At the other end of the table was a plate of delicious chocolate cookies. Below it, in childlike handwriting was a sign.
Help yourself.
Take as many as you want.
Remember Jesus is watching……………the apples!
Chocolate No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Waxed paper
Directions
In a heavy saucepan bring to a boil, the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk.

Let boil for 1 minute then add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal.

On a sheet of waxed paper, drop mixture by the teaspoonfuls, until cooled and hardened.

After these cool and harden, store in a airtight container for up to two weeks. Mine dont last that long.
Peace be with you,
Veronica

Bravo to the witty person who wrote the second note! The apples do look delicious (especially to me, one of the few on earth that doesn’t have an appreciation of chocolate). My daughter however, she’d go crazy for the cookies. I’ll be making them. Thanks for visiting me!

Hahahah that was too funny! What do you think, will these cookies be good with corn flakes instead of oats as well?

I use the same recipe and always get ravings and recipe requests from those that receive them! They are sent from heaven!
Unfortunately that’s not me anymore as a lactard. Immense sadness. But found a way around it (link below if you like!)

I loved that story! So funny! It’s a good thing Jesus is watching the apples because I would probably eat too many of these cookies!

I kept thinking I should make these all summer — too hot to bake — but I was even too busy to do that. Thank you for reminding me.
