Party Meatballs
This time of year who doesn’t like a quick party appetizer to serve your hungry guests? Laugh these off if you want to, but when I have a shower or holiday function, this was the go-to recipe I use for those tiny cocktail sausages and meatballs that most everybody requests. It’s hard to believe that the base is made with grape jelly mixed with bottled chili sauce. Now, I would have taken a picture of the finished product. I couldn’t though, when I got the time to get a picture, they were all gone. That is how fast they go. So do your tired pour soul a favor. If expected to bring an appetizer to any function, make this. You will be glad you did.
Ingredients
1 pkg 80 count frozen meatballs
1 (12 ounce) bottle of chili sauce
1 (10 ounce) jar of grape jelly
Pour the bag of frozen meatballs into a crock pot.
Combine the chili sauce and grape jelly.
Cook for 3 hours or until meatballs are no longer frozen and sauce is combined.

I make these for get-togethers. People are always so surprised that they have grape jelly in them. My Grandma said they were very popular in the fifties. I make a BBQ sauce version as well. If anyone else is reading this comment – you must make these. Folks go crazy over them!
